András Tétényi

(b. 1982) is an assistant lecturer  at the Department of World Economy at CUB. He received his MSc degree from CUB in 2006, and is currently working on his PhD thesis, due to be completed in 2010.

He has been teaching various courses at CUB since 2005. In 2008 he lead a joint research group between AT Kearney and CUB. His main research interests are development economics with special emphasis on how political institutions improve economic development in third world countries, as well as international politics.

He is fluent in English and has a reasonable command of German.
