András BAUER

He has joined the predecessor of Corvinus University of Budapest in 1978. He is a trained economist (KMU) and has received his PhD from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His work is in the marketing area, where he teaches multiple courses on different levels (BA, MBA, PhD) After managing executive and corporate programs (2001-2005), he is the head of the marketing department at Corvinus.

Dr. Bauer has been a visiting professor at UC Berkeley for the last 15 years. He has worked in HEC (2000-2001) teaching in the MBA program. Since 2005 he represent CUB in Community of European Management Schools (CEMS), where he has been elected to Chair of the Marketing Faculty Group. He has co-developed and co-taught the „Marketing Challenges in Diverse European Markets” CEMS course in Barcelona, Budapest and Vienna – together with Josep Franch (ESADE). Currently he is working on a case book with the same topic.

He has published more the 150 articles and books. His current research interests include global advertising practices, fairness in business-to-business markets, and distribution strategy.
