CEEPUS-II Networks

CEEPUS program (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies)  is an international mobility cooperation of the central-European countries, financed by the member states. The aim of the CEEPUS program is to establish joint education programs, and support student and teacher exchange among the member countries.

Universities of the member countries are encouraged to establish networks for implementation of these mobility programs. The networks have to apply for financial support in each year at CEEPUS Office.

Network coordinator: Professor Vladimir Mrsa

University of Zagreb, Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology

Mobility applications for the year 2010-2011 are open!

Aims

The aim of the  network is to continue the well established and fruitful collaboration and activities of the previous CII-HU-0023, focusing to studies in the field of food production and processing, food safety and quality control and nutrition. The 13 partner universities and particularly the networking institutes and/or faculties have educational profiles perfectly fitting this aim and cover all topics related to food, from agricultural and technological aspects and the interaction of food and health to related economical issues. The combination of these complementary curricula allows a broad spectrum of choices for students and teachers for the development of their skills and competences through mobility exchange. It is important to mention that most topics related to food require pronounced interdisciplinar approach which can only be achieved through interactions of institutions like different partners of the network.
