First steps in the Library (for Freshmen)

The library collection contains selected, high-standard literature, they will help you produce better papers. Start collecting your sources at the Library.
You can access scholarly books in electronic format and in print as well.
In the Library you can fully focus on your studies in a silent, comfortable environment.
The consultation rooms and the lecture room are great locations for common studies and project work too.
In the social spaces you can meet your friends.

In person: the Library’s entrance is on the first floor of building C. Check its opening hours.
Online: the university’s webpage, top menubar, “Library”
MyCorvinus app (No login needed for accessing the Library.)

To borrow documents, to use some services you need a library card. Pick it up at the Library, it is free of charge.
To access E-books and E-journals or online sources anytime and anywhere, install VPN-client or use EduID (limited to some databases).
Search for topics in SuperSearch box.
If you want to borrow a book, check its location (e.g. Business Economics reading room) and its shelf sign (e.g. 40, D 50). You can borrow books marked with a white stripe on its label.
Use the self-service check-in/out machines. Your PIN code by default is your date of birth (mmdd – e.g. 0321). It can be changed by logging into the catalogue.
