To apply as an international student, choose your application route and apply online on the dedicated platform as per below.

Self-funded international applicants

September 2026

All Applicants

We are happy to confirm that we have extended our application deadline, for all applicants, to Thursday 25 June 2026. For your application to be valid and for us to process it in time for the September 2026 start, please be aware of the following:

  • Your application fee must also be paid by the application deadline.
  • If your chosen programme requires a written entrance examination, this must be completed by Sunday 28 June 2026.
  • If you wish to use an exemption for the Corvinus entrance exam, this must also be submitted by 28 June.
  • If your chosen programme also requires an oral entrance exam, and you qualify to take part, this will take place 15-17 July 2026.
  • Acceptances and offers will be issued the following week. Successful candidates are strongly advised to pay their advance tuition fees immediately upon receiving their offer.
  • The Admissions team will aim to issue Admission Decision documents by 31 July 2026 for candidates who require a visa before they travel to Hungary.

EU/EEA and non-visa bearing nationals

For EU/EEA and non-visa bearing nationals, the application platform will remain open until Thursday 13 August 2026. Please be aware of the following:

  • Your application fee must also be paid by the application deadline.
  • If your chosen programme requires a written entrance examination, this must be completed by Sunday 16 August 2026.
  • If you wish to use an exemption for the Corvinus entrance exam, this must also be submitted by 16 August.
  • If your chosen programme also requires an oral entrance exam, and you qualify to take part, this will take place 24-26 August 2026.
  • Acceptances and offers will be issued 27-28 August. Successful candidates are strongly advised to pay their advance tuition fees immediately upon receiving an offer.
  • The Admissions team will aim to issue Admission Decision documents on 31 August 2026.

Our application platform is open for applications for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes.

We have simplified the schedule of our written and oral entrance examinations.

It shows you how to time your written entrance exam, if your chosen programme requires one, or the uploading of your exemption documents to DreamApply. This will ensure that you can be invited for the earliest available oral examinations if your chosen programme requires this, or help you proceed to the next stage of your admissions process and to receive your Admissions Decision as early as possible:

Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship applicants

September 2026 applications are now closed as of 15 January 2026. The next opportunity to apply will be for the September 2027 intake, with applications expected to open in autumn 2026.

*If you are a Master’s applicant, we are going to proceed with the credit recognition process in July. Acceptance Letters are issued after a successful credit acceptance.

If you were NOT NOMINATED for the scholarship, but you wish to continue as a self-funded applicant

  • You will be eligible for a 20% discount on your first year’s tuition fee
  • Register on our self-funded portal here
  • Fill out your profile and upload your documents
  • Mark that you were a Stipendium Hungaricum applicant for the current intake at the relevant section of the application form
  • Pay the 95 EUR application fee after submitting your application
  • For exam information, please review the self-funded process here

If you passed the entrance exams, but you were NOT ALLOCATED for the scholarship, and wish to continue as a self-funded student

  • You will be eligible for a 20% discount on your first year’s tuition fee
  • You will be informed about the way of self-funded registration in due time, after the scholarship decision is announced
  • Fill out your profile and upload your documents
  • Mark that you were a Stipendium Hungaricum applicant for the current intake at the relevant section of the application form
  • Pay the 95 EUR application fee after submitting your application
  • We will transfer your exam results and move your application forward

If you have started a self-funded application earlier this year, but you were waiting for the nomination:

  • In case you have taken the entrance exam, your scores will be transferred to the Stipendium Hungaricum application. If you need to take additional exams, you will be notified.
  • If you have failed your entrance exam as a self-funded applicant, you cannot retake it within the Stipendium Hungaricum framework. You can apply for a different programme (with a different exam type) as a self-funded student OR provide an exemption document. See the list at the Admission requirements here.

Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship applicants

September 2026 applications are now closed as of 2 February 2026. The next opportunity to apply will be for the September 2027 intake, with applications expected to open in autumn 2026.
