For us, competitiveness means that the most talented students and the most excellent lecturers choose Corvinus University of Budapest, and the students graduating here strengthen the competitiveness of the Hungarian economy further. 

Changing the model of the university is an investment in the future. Our common goal is to make Corvinus University of Budapest the best university of economics and social sciences in the region by 2030.

We are proud to be the first to begin this transformation. Our model work also served as an example for other institutions. We believe that foundation-based operation supports flexible and predictable functioning, as well as long-term planning. The foundation-operated model helps to respond quickly to the surrounding economic, social and international challenges and to allow our students to leave higher education with even more marketable degrees and valuable knowledge. In addition, autonomy and a performance-based pay system provide an incentive for university faculty, researchers, as well as for the employees working in supporting departments. 

Our objective is to make the Corvinus University of Budapest more efficient and successful by ensuring a more flexible environment, as well as that the university supports the strengthening of the local and international economy by creating value.
