OUP-databases

OUP’s social science journals, as well as The Max Planck Encyclopedias of International Law, which contain legal materials, have been available through the University’s subscription for several years. During the current trial period, we are expanding access to include the following databases:

Oxford English Dictionary (OED)

Oxford Research Encyclopedias (ORE)

Oxford Bibliographies Online (OBO)

Oxford Handbooks Online (OHO)

Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO)

Oxford Intersections

Trial period: 13 April – 13 July, 2026

Access is available by clicking on the different databases. Details of the webinars for the different databases are coming.

JSTOR – AI-tool

The JSTOR database of archival journals has been integrated with a multi-functional, interactive, research-enhancing AI tool with the following features:

– shows related contents

– creates the summary of the article or parts of it

– makes possible of asking free questions about the content, and

– recommends further research topics.

The tool is currently running in beta, so user feedback will also help to improve it. To activate it, you need to create a personal account on JSTOR.
