What does Corvinus mean for our students?

The goal of the organization is to reward teacher excellence. A call for applications has also been announced for researchers.

Corvinus University of Budapest held an extraordinary Senate meeting on Tuesday, 30 November, to discuss two issues. The Senate approved the results of the Vice-Rector applications, but the institutional budget for 2022 was not supported due to a split vote.

Applications are open from November until 31 January 2022 for classes starting in September 2022.

The traditional Corvinus award ceremony was held on 25 November.

The dramatic explosion of data production in recent years has had a profound impact on the scientific community, the flow of data and research collaborations across countries and disciplines.

Founded jointly by Corvinus University of Budapest and Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Danube Cup, a startup pitch contest and network of seven leading universities from 4 countries in the Danube region has received the Innovative networking award from OTH Regensburg (Technical University of Regensburg).

The Corvinus University of Budapest is awarding research grants based on the grant agreement contract that was signed with the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH). The grant aims at supporting research in microeconomics, industrial organization, and applied microeconomics.

On December 3, leaders of Corvinus University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Central European Network of Universities (CENU) with leaders of distinguished universities in Bratislava, Warsaw and Zagreb.

The Proof of Concept Start-up Competition (PoC Competition) will be be organized in the 2021/2022 academic year too, with a budget of HUF 18,000,000 to support the realization of the students’ projects.

The University will provide new dining facilities in the ground floor community areas of the Main Building.
