For them, the tasks associated with a dog mean more than “me time” but less than raising a child. A dog requires a daily routine and comes with responsibility, but in return it also provides emotional support and still leaves room for rest, a Hungarian study finds. The research was conducted with the involvement of researchers from Corvinus University.
