Tourism Forum x MTPA MeetUp #41 – Festival Gastronomy and Artificial Intelligence

The program begins at 3:00 p.m. with a panel discussion entitled “The Evolution of Festival Gastronomy.” The speakers will explore how the food and beverage offerings at festivals have changed in recent years, to what extent gastronomy has become an integral part of the overall festival experience, how audience expectations are evolving, and where festival gastronomy may be heading in the future.
The panelists are:

Dr. Bence Csapody, Hotel Manager at Kistücsök Food&Room, Assistant Professor at the University of Pannonia, and Project Manager of the Taste Balaton Festival;

Ádám Horváth, Founder and Owner of Kerykeion Zrt. and a hospitality expert working with Sziget Festival;

Dr. László Kökény, Head of the Department of Tourism and Associate Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest.
At 4:30 p.m., the focus will shift to “Festival Tourism and AI.” The panel will examine how artificial intelligence could transform festival tourism and what opportunities AI may offer in enhancing the visitor experience, communication, planning, and tourism-related decision-making.

The discussions will be moderated by Natália Oszkó-Jakab, Co-President of MTPA. The event is organized by Prof. Dr. Melinda Jászberényi, Head of the Center for Mobility and Tourism at Corvinus University of Budapest.
