Centre For Horizon Europe
The Corvinus Centre for Horizon Europe operating as part of the Research Management Office was established on 1 January 2021, at the time of the launch of the new EU research grant cycle. Its objective is to assist the staff of the University in the preparations for participation in international calls, especially under the Horizon Europe programme.
We offer the following research support services
- Organisation of on-line information events about various topics of the European research support system
- Trainings courses – including internal courses – for researchers and management
- Tender watching in the main research areas of the University, offering grant opportunities to persons/research groups,
- Providing personalized professional consultations to researchers: incubation of research ideas and turning research ideas into projects
- Support in finding consortia or tender partners: representing the University and presenting its tender ideas at brokerage events, searching for possibilities of joining new consortia and contacting potential tender partners
- Tender budget planning
- In the case of consortium leadership, the quality assurance of and commenting on the whole text of the application, writing certain parts of the text, enforcing the requirements of the European Commission
- Pre-award project management (from the tender idea to the beginning of the term), supporting researchers during consortium meetings, in the process of writing applications and in starting the project
- Keeping contact with international research management organisations
- Relation to the Tender Project Management unit in management issues, joint consultation possibilities
