Once again, a farmers' market has been organised at Corvinus, this time in the Main Hall of the University. We talked to Lili Ágfalvai, a student of International Studies, about her impressions and experiences, who was present as a producer, too.

Gábor Békés and Gábor Kézdi's data analysis textbook is beautiful and useful in everyday business life, and already tops a prestigious Hungarian bestseller list in the money, investment and business category. The first half of this niche economic publication, written by the Corvinus researchers and used in 30 countries, is now available in Hungarian translation. The book aims to make knowledge accessible to all.

Junaid Saiyed commutes thousands of kilometres each month to participate in the weekend sessions of the Corvinus Executive MBA (dual degree in partnership with MSM – Maastricht University) program. Reflecting on the past academic year, he believes that the substantial investment of time and energy has been paying off. How to make science more transparent? This was one of the questions that guided a series of events and meetings hosted by the Institute of Finance with Robert Faff, Honorary Professor from The University of Queensland, in the first two weeks of May.

Patrick Bohl is replaced by Ákos Varga as Dean of Postgraduate and Executive Education. Dániel Havran, previously acting Dean for Graduate Programs, has been appointed for a 3-year term following a successful application.

The course titled „Model UNFCCC CEMS Climate Strategy Roleplay” ran in the framework of the CEMS Master program for the 16th time in the spring semester. The course concludes with a two-day climate conference simulation that was hosted this year by Corvinus, between 9-11 May. The conference was attended by 148 international students from 9 CEMS partner universities, who took on the roles of various countries and NGOs to simulate the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and agree on the next steps in the international fight against climate change.
