CEMS MIM applications open from 17 November – here’s how to apply

The CEMS MIM is an internationally recognised one-year Master’s programme, jointly developed by academic and business leaders. It combines the best practices of domestic and international management to deliver one of the world’s most effective and prestigious programmes.
Who can apply?
Students with active enrolment whose overall Bachelor’s GPA is at least 3.5, and who are currently enrolled in one of the following Master’s programmes:
Master’s in Hungarian:
Master’s programmes in English:
If you are applying for the Master’s in Management and Leadership in English, your application automatically includes the CEMS programme and a mandatory international exchange semester at one of our partner universities is built into the curriculum.
No separate application is required, only registration to the CEMS database.
Language requirements
When applying, you must provide a valid English language certificate proving your proficiency.

Important:
You can submit your English certificate by 31 January at the latest, but please upload the exam confirmation and proof of payment to the CEMS portal during the application period (17-27 November).
Please note that some partner universities may have additional language requirements. Check the CEMS page of our website or the relevant partner university’s website for details.
Application process
- Apply online via the official CEMS website (17–27 November 2025)
The application platform will be unavailable on Tuesday, 18 November, from 9:00 in the morning until 18:00.
Upload all required documents, including the link to your motivation video, which should be listed on a separate page.

2. Apply for the Pannónia Scholarship (17 November 2025 – 8 January 2025.)
This step is essential – your application will only be valid if you also apply for the Pannónia Scholarship, as your mobility is supported only in this case.

Selection of partner institutions (17 November 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 1 December 2025, 4:00 p.m.): select the “CEMS” option in Neptun.

Submission of the E401 Neptun request (8 December 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 8 January 2026, 4:00 p.m.).
Important update
Please note an important change this year: If you are awarded a place in the programme but later decide not to take it, you must withdraw your decision within 15 days from the date of notification. Otherwise, you will be required to pay 15% of the minimum wage (approximately HUF 43,620 in 2025) to the university.

Two types of application procedures
1. Traditional way
In this case, your application will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Academic achievement: maximum 30 points

Language skills: maximum 10 points

Motivational video: maximum 10 points

Extracurricular activities: maximum 25 points

Interview: maximum 25 points

2. Assessment Centre
In this case, the admission process consists of a group exercise and an individual task, where you can demonstrate your skills to the Admission Committee, which includes CEMS professors, corporate partners and the CEMS Academic Director.
Scoring:

Academic achievement: maximum 30 points

Language skills: maximum 10 points

Motivation video: maximum 10 points

Assessment Centre tasks: maximum 50 points

Whichever route you choose, you can earn a maximum of 100 points in total.
