Four undergraduate students from Corvinus University of Budapest represented our university at the prestigious RSM STAR Case Competition in Rotterdam, showcasing their strategic thinking and excellent presentation skills, achieving 8th place overall in the competition.

HÖOK is seeking to appoint mentors for its Stipendium Hungaricum Mentor Network. Mentors take tasks on contemporary assistance and the integration of foreign students coming to Hungary with the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme in the semesters of 2025 and 2026.

The project is supported by Hungary’s Ministry of Culture and Innovation.

A recent study by researchers at Corvinus University of Budapest reveals that the crises between 2019 and 2022 boosted the market power of dairy processors in Hungary, allowing them to shift rising costs onto consumers while gaining a stronger bargaining position over retailers. According to the study, the situation could be improved by fostering stronger competition in the dairy processing market and by making plant-based milk alternatives more price-competitive compared to traditional dairy products.

“We want to let universities be the force for good. And the good is that we have to build a more sustainable world,” says Dr Karen Maas, who, together with her Hungarian colleagues, has just started to research into the societal impact of universities at CIAS.
