“Corvinus gave me a different worldview, broadened my horizons, and I owe many friendships to the university,” recalls the Wizz Air CEO, who says he remains very proud to have been a student there.
“Our university courses were excellent at teaching us how to ask the right questions—but to get the answers, you had to go out to the real world. I was always interested in the global side of business, which is why I started my career at a multinational company and have continued to work in an international environment ever since,” he explains.
According to József Váradi, success requires a willingness to take risks and to constantly push one’s own limits. He himself took a major risk when founding Wizz Air, fully aware that failure was a real possibility.
