The Hungarian finals of the Danube Cup startup competition for students were held on April 29, at building Q of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics to decide who can participate in the international finals in late May.

Corvinus University considers it its mission to find and train students with the highest abilities, regardless of their social background. At the same time, it is important to identify the disadvantages that often prevent these students from attending university at first attempt. Corvinus is now launching an intensive one-year talent support program for young GCSE graduates whose parents or foster parents have no diploma and have not yet been admitted to any higher education institution.

Geert Bouckaert, Professor of the KU Leuven Public Governance Institute and Doctor Honoris Causa of the Department of Public Policy and Management visited the Corvinus University to give two seminars and a public lecture in April.
