Feminine minds: Women who shaped the world – March programs at the University Library

03/03/2026
The event series will launch on Monday, March 9, with a special exhibition displayed in the glass vitrines by the library entrance.  One of the showcases will feature inventions created by women or significantly shaped by their contributions. The exhibition will also be available online via the QR code placed next to the display, where visitors can explore additional innovations developed by women. The other display case features feminist and women-centered film and series recommendations, while the library's entrance level will feature a thematic book recommendation shelf where readers can choose from a selection of works of fiction by female authors. kép On March 12, from 17:15, we welcome everyone at the library to attend the roundtable discussion titled “Vintage Roles, Modern Profit”. The program examines the tradwife phenomenon from various social and economic perspectives. The language of the event is going to be Hungarian. During the last two weeks of the month, poetry screenings will be presented. Poems by female poets will be available to read in Hungarian and English on the library’s entrance level. We welcome all interested visitors to the Library. Follow the library’s platforms for details.
