Investor sentiment significantly influences the value of cryptocurrencies in the metaverse crypto market, finds new research from Corvinus University of Budapest.
Hungarians are most interested in financial literacy because it enables them to make better use of their opportunities, but they are less interested in it to help their families make better decisions, according to a newly published Hungarian paper from Obuda University involving Corvinus.
For two semesters, Corvinus teachers experimented with ChatGPT-like artificial intelligence in their mathematics courses: all the time, their students were free to use AI for their assignments and even for their exams. The results surprised both instructors: students’ motivation and the overall knowledge level of the group decreased, and social inequalities between students became more pronounced.
Alvin E. Roth, a pioneer American economist of market design and Nobel Prize winner of Economic Sciences, has been working lately with Corvinus researcher Bíró Péter on kidney exchange theories.
The aim of the research management office is to support the quality publications of the Corvinus scholars with various means, contributing to the improvement of the University’s research performance and its position in international university rankings.
The Research Management office provides assistance at all levels of the research-publication process: from planning to the implementation of the research, to the writing and publication of the articles.
The primary tool of research support is the Workflow system, that is an online application interface to require financial assistance regarding the publication and dissemination of manuscripts. Our workshops serve the purpose of expanding the professional knowledge of colleagues, by inviting renowned international guest speakers and organizing methodological trainings.
The recognition of achievements and the further financial stimulation of researchers, also takes a central role in our agenda. The annually announced Corvinus Research Excellence Award (CKK) was created, to reward internationally visible, outstanding publications. Research visibility is aided by the quarterly summaries of our publication Quarterly Corvinus Research Highlights, which are at the forefront of the academic plenum’s interest.”
