Interlibrary loan
Faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students who have a valid Library Card may request materials via Interlibrary Loan. Requested materials must match the Library’s Collection Management Policy.
We can help you borrow books, articles or other materials that our library does not have (to be sure check the library catalogue or consult with a librarian first!). Check to make sure that the journal articles are not available in the library subscribed full text electronic resources!
The cost of Interlibrary Loan for Faculty and for PhD students is covered by the Library.
Other requestors have to pay for the price set by the lending library or for the cost of the digital copy.
Requests for the original documents within Hungary are free of charge. These documents can only be used within the Central Library reading rooms. They are not to be checked out.

Browse and order E-books
Proquest Ebook Central Collection contains cca. 7000 economics-related books. On that platform each book can be used for 5 minutes, and after registration another 5 minutes of use is possible. Registration is available via Corvinus University network (VPN included). Later use is irrespective of the university network.
Afterwards it is possible to recommend the book for purchasing. Each recommendation is received by the Corvinus University staff, and they are evaluated within two work days. The sender of the recommendation will always be notified about the result via email.
Case studies, simulations
Case studies or simulations for teaching purposes from any publishers may be requested through the university’s Digital Services using the Case study purchase request – form.
Harvard Business Publishing
Due to the partnership between Corvinus and Harvard Business Publishing Education, Corvinus lecturers have full access to all course materials available in the publisher’s catalogue. All learning materials offer a preview or trial option (free trial/sample for simulation, preview for podcast, watermarked version for educator copy), but all can be ordered in an unrestricted version using the online form.
Procedure of ordering:
- Case studies
After submitting your request, you will receive an access link from the library staff that ensures access to the case study without logging in. This link can also be shared with students who can access the case study without registering.
- Simulation
If you request a simulation, you will receive an email from HBP when it becomes available. To access, log in at Harvard Business Publishing Education, where supplementary materials for the simulation are also available. You will find the shareable link for students also here. Students can access the materials after registration.
