Old and rare books collection

The Old and rare Books Collection is available to readers and researchers with a valid library card at a prearranged time. The research library cannot be visited with a day ticket.
Booking has to be requested at least 2 workdays earlier by filling in the form below. The Library will contact the reader/researcher to negotiate the possible date of the visit.
The research library is accessible from Monday to Thursday, 9:00-16:00, on Friday, 9:00-14:00, for up to 3 hours. Any requests differing from these conditions will have to be previously considered.
In the history research library, at the prearranged time, old historical volumes marked RM can be used after requesting them previously on the form. One researcher can use up to 5 documents at the same time.
In the case of students, using old historical volumes is allowed after presenting a recommendation issued by a consultant/faculty member.
For reasons of protection, old historical documents cannot be photocopied, but they can be photographed with a mobile phone.
