More students admitted with scholarships at Corvinus, alongside top-ranking admission scores

This year, Corvinus University of Budapest offered more than 2,000 tuition-free places and admitted 8 per cent more students than last year through the Hungarian higher education admission process. Corvinus continues to attract students with the strongest academic results: among programmes offered by several Hungarian universities, Corvinus set the highest admission scores for most of them, with International Business taking the lead at 477 points. The number of international students admitted to Corvinus also increased significantly, by 50 per cent.
Corvinus students examined the digital carbon footprint of hotel websites

The environmental impact of travel does not necessarily begin with departure. In a project led by the Department of Tourism at Corvinus University of Budapest, students and faculty examined the digital guest journeys of 43 five-star hotels in Hungary. The results indicate that the carbon footprints of individual online booking processes may differ by more than a factor of eighteen, while the technical optimisation of images alone can already generate meaningful savings.

Hybrid working has become one of students’ top priorities

Most students are already working during their university years, increasingly view their degrees as having greater value in the labour market, and, as graduates, primarily seek jobs that offer flexible, hybrid working arrangements, according to a recent survey by Corvinus University of Budapest.
