CONNECT – Recurring English speaking community event in NAPKÖZI

The goal of the Student Support Services team when creating and organizing CONNECT was to invite both Hungarian and international students into an open-door space where they can form connections in a spontaneous way and feel part of the university community.

Researcher stories: ‘It feels good to dig really deep into the topic’ 

From September, every week we will introduce an excellent Corvinus researcher who has recently been rewarded for his/her work. Our next researcher examines producers markets and the crisis of the global supply chains, and often analyses agricultural trade, too. Áron Török comes from a family that was involved in farming in the old days, and he is a primary producer himself, in a certain sense. In his case, it is absolutely correct to say that he researches the topic that sustains him.

Researcher stories: When El Camino helps to find a career in research

Each week from September, we will feature a distinguished Corvinus researcher who has recently received recognition for their work. This time we present Balázs Sziklai, who has studied political science situations, the rules of sports competitions and energy economics. He started out as a market researcher and continued as a mathematician, but he has no plans to take a new career turn.

Eight of our researchers won grants at the OTKA tender

From this year’s basic research tenders, Corvinus will get funds for the examination and algorithm research of sustainability issues, behaviour distortions, employee welfare and artificial intelligence expectations, too.  Altogether HUF 256 million will be available to our researchers for the three- or four-year projects.
