In her doctoral dissertation defended at the Corvinus University of Budapest, Dr. Viktória Pap explored the spirit of the Sziget Festival as perceived by the festival-goers using the method of mental mapping. We asked the author about the concert atmosphere, the disappearance of the rebel ideology, male and female routes addressed by the special topic, a veritable gap-filler.

This summer's graduation ceremonies were held between 26 and 28 July.

Corvinus continues to attract the best students, with the most sought-after bachelor programmes requiring even higher scores than last year: the top score was 480 for the English-language BA in International Business Economics. The number of Hungarian students admitted to English language programmes has increased by 14 percent, thus nearly half of the first year students will already be studying in English.

Corvinus hosted an international Rubik's Cube competition in early June. The fastest players in the region competed on campus.

The programme supports research and innovation projects to improve the security of water resources.

In connection with Wednesday's point drawing, HVG's 2023 ranking of higher education is up to date again. Compared to last year, Corvinus has jumped from ninth to sixth place.
