Operations research in theory and practice

This year the XXXV. Hungarian Operations Research Conference was held at the Corvinus University of Budapest between 21-23 June. The event is organised jointly by the János Bolyai Mathematical Society, the Hungarian Society for Economic Modelling, and the Hungarian Operational Research Society every two years, on a rotating basis.

Our case solving team wins a bronze medal in Thailand

The Corvinus team came third in the Chulalongkorn International Business Case Competition for BA students in Thailand.

Silver medal for our students in the MEFOB indoor volleyball championship final

Our team finished second in the women's final and fourth in the men's final.

Our basketball team came second in the final of the University and College Championship

The team will also take part in the European University Championship in Debrecen this summer.

Shortened opening hours in university canteens

During the summer, the opening hours of the canteens in both buildings will change. Hot lunch will still be available in Building C, but with a reduced offer.
