Now you can choose between two careers
Since last year, you can choose between academic and expert-focused doctoral career models by applying to Corvinus Doctoral Schools. The two training have the same program and output requirements, the degree obtained (PhD) is the same, the difference will be in the target group, purpose and way of organizing the training.
Candidates for academic careers are expected who would be professionally involved in education and research during their careers, and envisage their careers in the sphere of higher education and research and the expert career is for you if you are interested in social science matters and have practical experience in business, public administration, culture or diplomacy.
We provide a guaranteed future even as a student
We have introduced the Corvinus Doctoral Scholarship, which aims to help our best students create a stable financial background during their doctoral studies we will add a total of HUF 280,000 to the state scholarship. You’ll need to submit a new application for this each year in April. The scholarship is for one year and represents a monthly allowance.
Candidates for the Corvinus Doctoral Scholarship may be students who choose the Hungarian state scholarship training and the academic career under the framework of the general doctoral admission procedure.
Depending on your field of study, you can choose from four doctoral schools:
- Doctoral School of Business and Management
- Doctoral School of Economics and Economic Informatics
- Doctoral School of International Relations and Political Science
- Doctoral School of Sociology and Communication Sciences
How to apply?
If the general admission requirements are met, all you have to do is submit the required documents with the form that opens at the beginning of the application period and transfer the admission fee.
