Get moving with Corvinus – Sport opportunities at the university

Physical activity is not only part of physical and mental well-being, but also a great community experience – and Corvinus offers many opportunities to stay active during your university years.

Sports in multiple locations

Located on the Gellért Campus, the Sports Centre is a modern facility operated by an external provider. You can use it not only during PE classes but in your free time as well. As a Corvinus student you’ll even receive a discount. The centre features fitness studios, a football pitch, a basketball court, and even wall climbing, with the highlight being the largest overhanging boulder wall in Hungary. Click here for more details!

All dormitories have a gym – but you can use the gym at the Kinizsi Dormitory even if you don’t reside there. The Kinizsi Gym is a friendly and practical workout space where you can do both weight training and bodyweight exercises. You can find more information here.

Sport Beyond Leisure

As a student, you can choose from more than 25 sports as part of your university courses (see the full list here). Please note that bachelor’s students are required to complete two semesters of PE. If you have already fulfilled this requirement, or if you are a master’s student, you can still sign up for PE classes. More details on the requirements are available here.

The Centre for Physical Education, together with the Közgáz Sports Club and Student Sports Association, organises competitive sports at the university and offers opportunities to take part in various sporting events. For details, contact the staff of the Department of Physical Education, or check the website and Facebook page.

Save the date – Corvinus Sports Week is coming!

Every semester, the Student Union and the Centre for Physical Education and Sports organise the Corvinus Sports Week together, where plenty of sports activities await you.

The date of the autumn Sports Week: 13–16 October 2025.

In addition, several sports events will be waiting for you throughout the semester – you can find more details on the website and on Facebook.

Make being active part of your routine – we’re here to help you!
