On the occasion of the national holiday of 20 August, Gergely Gulyás, Minister heading the Prime Minister’s Office, presented Anthony Radev, former President of Corvinus University, with the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary, awarded by President Tamás Sulyok.

Between July 16–21, four undergraduate students from Corvinus University – Desislava Dostinova, Kornél Németh, Rebeka Nagy, and Suzy Shu – competed at the Asian Business Case Competition in Singapore, hosted by Nanyang Technological University, and achieved an impressive second place finish.

The stories of our alumni show that knowledge gained at Corvinus, combined with perseverance and courage, can lead to success – even on the international stage.

The mathematician and economist was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary, Civil Division, in recognition of his outstanding professional achievements.
