In keeping with its traditions, this May, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences once again presented prestigious scientific awards at its annual general assembly. Among the recipients of the Academy Award was sociologist Attila Melegh, Full Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest.

Aamir Khan originally came to Europe to study banking, but his experience at Corvinus changed the way he saw the world. Upon returning to India, he began working for the Minister of Education for the State of Maharashtra. His projects include improving menstrual wellness for underprivileged girls and setting up school libraries in government schools. At Corvinus, he learned how to lead, take ownership, and find creative solutions.

The second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year is coming to end, which also means that it’s almost time to evaluate the courses of this semester.

The application period for the Pannonia Internship Program is now open for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year and the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Dr. Róbert Dobay will serve as the Head of Strategy of Corvinus University for the upcoming period, while Dr. Meeta Kumar will take over as the head of the accreditation team under his supervision. Their appointments mark an important step in achieving the university's international ambitions and accreditation goals. 

This year, 1500 children have participated in the 4th Climate Heroes Conference organised by UNICEF Hungary. Our assistant professor from the Institute of Sustainable Development also participated in the panel on Technology and Climate Change, where a discussion with corporate experts took place.
