Discover the world while you study! Long-term study mobility gives you the opportunity to study at top foreign universities as part of a partial study programme, while getting to know new cultures and building international connections.
The aim of the programme is to enable as many Corvinus students as possible to try their hand abroad and complement their studies with unique international experiences.
With the support of the Pannónia Scholarship Programme, you can deepen your professional knowledge, gain a broader perspective, lifelong experiences, and valuable connections with students from other countries.
Long-term study mobility for credit acquisition takes place at Corvinus’ partner universities and lasts for a minimum of 60 and a maximum of 180 days. In the case of autumn mobility, it is possible to submit an extension request for the spring semester.
Detailed conditions can be found in the call for applications.
This partner list still contains the universities available for application in the 2024/2025 academic year. The updated list for the 2025/2026 academic year is expected to be published at the end of October. Please take this into account when reviewing the information!
Please note that in the Neptun System all eligible institutions are listed regardless of the level of study, so it is important to check the partner list on this website to find out whether a certain institution is assigned to bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral programme. It is important to note that you can only apply for a given place at the level of study indicated in the partner list. For example, if a bachelor student applies for a master place, the application will not be considered. All students can apply for the study field that corresponds to their own level of education.
*We reserve the right to make changes until the start of the application period. Where nothing is entered under ‘information‘, a B2 language exam is required.
The amount of the scholarship for long-term study mobility can vary between 350,000 and 400,000 forints per month, depending on the destination country. According to the rules of the programme, each month is calculated as 30 days.

Valid applications will be scored as follows:
If you have any questions, please contact us via the Do it Online interface.
Yes, but please note that you must have completed at least one semester in order to travel abroad.
Yes, a cumulative GPA of 3.00, weighted by credits, is the minimum requirement for the semester specified in the call for applications.
If your credit-weighted cumulative GPA is below 3.00, your application will be rejected without consideration.
Applications are submitted in the Neptun system in two consecutive rounds. In the first round, you must select the institutions you wish to apply to in order of preference. In the second round, you must provide and submit additional information requested in the application form and upload the documents specified in the call for applications.
Important! Check what language exam or other requirements your chosen university has, because you’ll need to meet them too. Make sure you have a valid language exam when you leave for the destination university, if needed.
Yes, but all students who travel abroad in their final semester will delay their graduation by one semester, as the Credit Transfer Committee will only be able to decide on the transfer of credits and grades earned abroad at the beginning of the following semester. Furthermore, in order to travel abroad, you must have at least 21 credits remaining (not including the thesis seminar and the mandatory internship, which do not count towards the 21 credits), and you must take at least one course for the additional semester.
A B2-level complex language exam in the language of your future studies is a basic requirement for applying. The host university may also require other language exams or special language skills. All existing language proficiency certificates must be uploaded to the application platform when applying.
If the working language of the mobility programme you are applying for is English and you are studying in English, you do not need to present a B2-level complex English language exam, but you must meet any special requirements not set by Corvinus but the host institution.
If you are studying in Hungary at your own expense, you will also need to finance your studies abroad. Other than that, the university’s general application requirements apply, and there are no additional conditions.
It is important to note that the Pannónia or other scholarship only cover a large part of the actual costs incurred, and you will have to finance the difference yourself.
No, it does not come automatically. You must indicate your need for a scholarship when submitting your application.
You can find information about this under the list of partner universities.
You can only select partner institutions related to your own field of study. The list of scientific fields is included in the table of study fields.
Regardless of Brexit, British universities are still included in the partner list, from which you can choose a university that is relevant to your training programme.
No, because during your partial studies abroad, you must take courses that are relevant to your field of study and level of study.
No, if you are studying for a bachelor’s degree you can only apply for a bachelor’s programme.
Once you have submitted your application, you cannot change your order of preference.
The scoring system is part of the call for applications. It consists of two parts:
The score for academic performance will be based on the cumulative adjusted credit index for the semester specified in the call for applications. This index looks at the performance for all completed semesters and takes into account both the credits completed and the credits taken.
The admission threshold varies from year to year, depending on the number of students applying in a given year, the number of scholarship places available, and the universities to which applicants submit their applications, as our partners can only accept a certain quota number of students each semester.
You can select a maximum of 6 institutions and rank them in order of preference.
The application interface will only be available after it has been opened. In order to ensure that you have all the necessary documents at your disposal when you submit your application, it is advisable to start obtaining the documents required to certify your other activities (the applicable templates can be found on the website) and preparing your certificates (e.g., TDK/OTDK results, competition results, language exam documents) in advance. Read the call for applications to find out exactly what you need to prepare!
Yes, you do. Corvinus requires to present the proof of language proficiency as a condition of application, so an individual exemption from a partner institution is not sufficient. When applying, you must submit an official language exam certificate that corresponds to the language of your studies abroad.
If the working language of the mobility programme you are applying for is English and you are studying in an English-language programme, you do not need to submit a B2-level complex English language exam certificate.
You can find these in the partner list, but be sure to check the websites of your chosen universities as well.
You must upload your language exam certificate to the Neptun system when submitting your application.
The language exam certificate is a prerequisite for application, without it, you cannot apply, and it cannot be presented later.
It is definitely worth it, as you will not receive extra points for language exams, but a B2 language exam in the language of study is a basic requirement for application.
However, if your partner university requires a language exam higher than intermediate level, you will not be eligible for a place at that partner.
The advanced level school leaving exam is equivalent to a B2 language exam, so it is also acceptable. However, the partner university may request a language exam certificate, which must be presented.
The list of partner universities includes the requirements of each partner university, and the information can also be found on the website of the selected university. If you find different information on the list and on the partner’s website, you can ask our collegues on the Do It Online! platform.
The 21-credit rule stipulates that you must complete a minimum of 21 credits during your studies abroad and present proof of these credits in the semester following your mobility. Students enrolled in a bachelor programme or a split or undivided master programme must declare that they still need to earn at least 21 credits to obtain their degree when they begin their studies abroad. Mandatory internships and specialized seminars do not count toward the 21 credits.
This ensures that the semester abroad truly meets the academic requirements at home.
An exception to this is the International Business (BSc) programme, where 30 ECTS credits must be completed if your mobility takes place during the dedicated “international semester”!
In case of a final semester abroad, you will be delayed by one semester due to the recognition of your studies abroad. (Course acceptance/credit recognition only takes place after you return, so you must take into account the duration of the domestic recognition process.)
Course descriptions for foreign universities are available on the official websites of partner institutions or on the information pages reserved for foreign students at host universities.
Yes, during a semester abroad, you must take at least thirty (30) ECTS credits (24 ECTS credits in the case of CEMS) as specified in the LA Before section of the study agreement, and you must achieve this credit value by taking at least five (5) courses.
Yes, if you meet the conditions of the Corvinus Scholarship Programme and are eligible for support, the deferred semester will also remain supported.
Check with your course coordinators. Based on the syllabi of your host university, they will be able to tell you whether the content and completion of a given foreign course will be accepted as equivalent to their domestic course or not.
Yes, it is possible to take courses that are not included in the domestic curriculum, but these courses (as elective courses) can be counted toward your studies. This must be agreed upon in advance with the course coordinator.
No. By reviewing the course descriptions, you can check whether the content of the foreign course is identical to any course you have already completed. If so, or if it covers most of it, you cannot take it.
It is usually worth visiting the “International Office,” “International Mobility,” “Incoming Students,” and “Exchange Student” pages on the website of the foreign partner university for information and to find out about courses advertised for exchange students. If you cannot find the information you need there, it is worth contacting the host university directly by email.
You can take any course from the course offerings abroad and substitute any courses in your curriculum that you have not yet completed, regardless of the semesters prescribed in your curriculum at home . Please note that the core part of the courses you take must be professional courses (21 ECTS).
For course acceptance, preferential study arrangements, and individual study matters, you can contact your study coordinator on the Do It Online! platform in the “Requests” knowledge base articles, or in person in the Student Area (building E) during opening hours.
If there is a course in the external course offering that is relevant to your studies and is likely to be equivalent to a Corvinus M/ME course, check its description and compare it with the syllabus of the course at Corvinus. If you find significant similarities between the two, contact the relevant course coordinator at Corvinus. Send them the syllabus and credit value (ECTS) of the external course in question and clarify whether it can actually be accepted as an equivalent to the M/ME course at home. If the course coordinator agrees that the foreign course can replace the Hungarian course, you will need to submit a mandatory attachment to the LA listing the courses to be replaced. This must be signed and stamped by the relevant course coordinator and then scanned and sent to the Mobility Group via Do It Online! (Before the Mobility).
No, there is no need for prior consultation in the case of elective courses; they will be accepted as elective courses.
Yes, if you continue your studies in active status during your semester abroad, you will remain eligible for your domestic study scholarship.
Students are required to notify the university of their withdrawal from the partial training place they have been awarded, preferably as soon as possible, but no later than fifteen (15) days after receiving the decision on application.
It is possible to extend the fall semester to the spring semester, but this requires the consent of both the host and home universities using the mandatory template. The extension must be requested in a timely manner, and you must meet the extension conditions of the Pannónia Scholarship Programme. You must first notify Corvinus of your intention and only after you receive the approval can you notify the partner.
The spring semester (can be extended until August 31 at the latest, but not into the fall) cannot be extended.
For GDPR reasons, we are not allowed to disclose student information.
No. It is the responsibility of the student to organize and arrange these matters.
Most of our partners do not have enough capacity to accommodate students in dormitories. Since most cases the dormitory application period coincides with the nomination period, often it is too late to get information whether there are any places left. In most cases, accommodation must be arranged in other ways.
All of your mobility (including short-term, long-term study or traineeship) during one training period cannot exceed 360 days.
Yes, it is acceptable as an elective course.
Yes, during mobility, you can take courses at home and abroad at the same time with a reduced study load, but it is worth considering that if you want to do this, it may mean multiple trips home, exam conflicts, and limited free time abroad . You can find more information about the discounted study schedule on the Do It Online! interface under applications.
The total number of credits cannot exceed 42.
After you have been accepted, the coordinator at your home institution will contact you to collect the information necessary for your nomination. After your nomination, the coordinator at the partner university will also contact you directly. Do not contact the foreign university before you are contacted! After you have been contacted, complete the tasks and requirements specified by the host institution (submit application forms, certificates, and other documents by the deadline on the specified administrative platform).
If you need the assistance of your coordinator at home (for authentication purposes), you can request help on the Do It Online! platform.
It is a study contract that must be concluded between all three parties (student, home university, and host university). It is important to emphasize that in LA Before, you must enroll in exactly 30 ECTS worth of courses based on the credit values of the host university (there should be no less or more than this) and complete at least 21 of these by the end of your mobility period in order to avoid any repayment obligations if you are receiving financial support. If only low-credit courses are available and 30 credits cannot be taken, or if the partner does not determine the values in ECTS, then a minimum of 5 courses must be taken and completed.
If the partner has limited course offerings and you are unable to take at least 30 credits, you must send (via Do It Oonline!) a letter from the coordinator abroad containing the course offerings and admission options, which includes the restriction as well.
You can submit your completed LA on the Do It Online platform, under the topic “Before the mobility.”
LA Before is the preliminary study agreement in which all the courses the student wants to study at the host university. The list of courses can be modified only once, after arrival if the finally selected courses differ from the initially selected courses.
The courses listed in the LA Before the Mobility section can be modified once (!) after arrival at the host university if there are changes to the courses you previously selected.
If you make any changes to the original Learning Agreement (e.g., drop or add a course), you must indicate this in the LA Changes section. This document must be signed and stamped by you, Corvinus, and the host university, and then submitted to the Student Mobility Team via Do It Online! at least 30 days before the end of your mobility period.
If the host university operates on a trimester system, you must submit the LA Changes section by the last day of course registration at the host institution.
No changes can be made after the end of the mobility period. The LA can only be changed once during the mobility period.
Only those courses that appear on your Transcript of Records may be included in the final LA.
If there have been no changes compared to the previously submitted LA Before, you do not need to submit a separate LA Changes.
Yes, in the LA Changes section there can be less than 30 ECTS, but you must complete at least 21 credits during the partial study programme.
If you need an official letter of nomination from Corvinus (some universities may request this), please write to the Do It Online! providing the following information:
If the host university requests proof that you meet their language requirements, it is sufficient to attach your official language exam certificate to the documents to be submitted, as most certificates are bilingual. In most cases, it is not necessary for Corvinus to issue a separate language proficiency certificate. If your certificate is not accepted after uploading it, you can ask for help at the Do It Online! For the certificate issued by the University, your language skills must be correctly listed in Neptun. The certificate can state the language in which the student is studying and that they met the minimum B2 language requirement at the time of application. Information required to issue the certificate:
The application form can be requested from the University by external institutions following nomination.
You can download any other documents that may be required for your application (e.g., Transcript/Credit Certificate for completed semesters only!) from Neptun with authentication. To do this, you can submit the H202 request; after submission, the system will generate the transcript within a few minutes, which you can download from Information>Documents>Certified Documents.
Before the semester abroad, all successful students must fill out the form: P509 – Mobility Data Request for Grant Agreement in Neptun. This is where you provide information such as the start and end dates of your mobility, your mode of travel, etc.
It is important that you:
The Pannónia scholarship is paid in Hungarian forints, in a single installment, but only if the following conditions are met:
If all conditions are met, the scholarship will be transferred within 30 days after signing the contract. The transfer will be made via the Neptun system. This means that the transfer will not be made automatically upon signing the agreement, so it is advisable to submit the application in good time and ensure that all signatures are in order.
Yes, you must activate your mobility semester in Neptun, even if you are studying abroad. In addition, you must also take a technical, 0-credit course called “semester abroad” or “külföldi félév” – depending on whether your study programme is in Hungarian or English.
In programmes where an international semester is mandatory, you must also take the 30-credit course “International semester” according to the sample curriculum.
If you do not take these courses, your semester will be marked as inactive, as the academic system only recognizes you as an active student if you take these courses, even if you are studying abroad.
This is an official certificate of the duration of your mobility abroad, issued by the host university. It consists of two parts:
It is important that the “departure” date is not later than the last day on which you were actually required to be present at the host university (e.g., the date of your last exam or the date of registration).
Yes, writing a mobility report (experience report) is mandatory for all outgoing students. It must be prepared according to a specific template, signed by hand, and then certified by the institution. The report must be submitted in paper form, with an original signature, in person to the Student Mobility Team, no later than 30 days after the end of the mobility period.
The sending institution may reclaim an amount equivalent to 30 days’ worth of support from students who fail to submit their report, which the student is obliged to repay to the institution’s bank account within 15 days of the institution’s request.
It is mandatory to submit the Transcript of Records (certificate of academic performance) issued by the host university. This must be sent to the University within 90 days after the end date of the mobility period.
In the case of study mobility, you must complete at least 21 credits based on the based on the credit system of the host institution in order for your study abroad to be considered successful, otherwise you will be required to repay the costs in accordance with the provisions of the Institution’s Regulations on Partial Study Abroad.
The recognition of courses completed abroad will take place at the beginning of the first active semester following mobility, during the registration period, by submitting Credit Transfer Request from a Foreign Institution – Registration + Credit Transfer Request from a Foreign Institution – Course Entry during the registration period at the beginning of the first active semester following your mobility. These requests are NOT handled by the Student Mobility Team; questions related to them can be submitted on the Do It Online! interface under “Requests< Credit Transfer Request (Credit Recognition)” knowledge base article. Courses completed abroad are always credited by the University for the mobility semester, i.e. retroactively after the completion of studies abroad. The request is subject to a fee, and courses completed abroad must be accepted at home.
If the student fails to initiate this, the fee specified in the RSFP, entitled “Failure to fulfill/delayed fulfillment of other administrative obligations” must be paid.
For students who travel abroad for a semester dedicated to their major, the credit transfer process differs from the above. They should consult with the study programme leader or study programme coordinator regarding the steps to be taken, as a different application must be submitted for the completion of an international (and domestic) semester in these majors.
If you have any questions, please visit the Do It Online! interface, under International Mobility> Before the mobility section.
