Who can join and how?

The Corvinus Alumni Club is open to anyone who has earned a degree from Budapest Corvinus University or its predecessor institutions, or who has successfully participated in a program offered by Corvinus. This naturally includes predecessor institutions and faculties that were part of Corvinus at the time the degree was awarded.

A Succesful Research Career in the USA That Started at Corvinus

What does a major city’s political system have to do with the effectiveness of rodent control? Among other fascinating topics, this is one of the questions explored by Virág Molnár, sociologist at the New York–based The New School. Her academic career began at Corvinus (then known as Közgáz) in the 1990s, from where she was admitted to Princeton’s doctoral programme. In our interview, she talks about her journey from Közgáz to Princeton, the challenges Eastern European scholars may face in the American academic world, and the strategy behind building an international research career.

Three Alumnae Featured in the Forbes Power Women Next List

For the first time this year, the editorial team of Forbes has compiled its subjective Power Women Next list, featuring young women with outstanding achievements and significant potential. The list includes Viktória Környei, founder of Kikapcs, Dorka Takácsy, a Russia expert, and Ágnes Czakó, Senior Portfolio Manager at OTP Fund Management Ltd. — all three are alumnae of Corvinus University.

Alumni Reunion in The Hague on March 16

Continuing our series of international alumni reunions, just a few days after our London event we will also be hosting an alumni gathering in The Hague. We warmly invite all our former students living and working in the Netherlands to join us.
