József Váradi, Co-founder and CEO of Wizz Air Holdings, graduated in Economics from Corvinus University’s predecessor institution. In 2003, together with his business partners, he founded Wizz Air, which under his leadership has grown into a globally recognized and highly successful airline. In our video, he shares the journey that led him to an internationally successful leadership career and the foundations he built during his university years.

At the end of October, our university took part in international education fairs in the Turkish metropolis, and together with the Liszt Institute in Istanbul, an alumni meeting was also organized for our former students and for prospective applicants interested in Corvinus programmes.

Today, the Heimann Family Winery is one of the best-known wine brands from Szekszárd, yet the Heimann family’s activities reach far beyond winemaking. They bring together wine and contemporary culture on their family estate through art exhibitions, film screenings, and fashion shows, creating a unique, vibrant community experience.

Last year, a total of six people from Wizz Air applied for the Corvinus Executive Master of Business Administration program. We were curious to learn what motivated this group decision and what a company can gain from enrolling several of its leaders in the Executive MBA program at the same time.
