Travel decision-making, tourism seasonality and art nouveau heritage – The latest issue of Turizmus Bulletin (2026/2)

The second issue of Turizmus Bulletin in 2026 presents a diverse selection of research topics, ranging from consumer behaviour and sustainability challenges to the tourism utilization of cultural heritage.

The issue showcases both Hungarian and international research findings while highlighting topics that are expected to play a significant role in the future development of tourism. 

The articles featured in this issue explore the emotional and rational aspects of travel decision-making, the sustainability implications of tourism seasonality, and the role of tourism in economic transformation. In addition, special attention is devoted to cultural tourism and destination development, with a focus on the built heritage of the Carpathian Basin and the strategic development of tourism in Szeklerland.
