“This MBA equipped me with the skills to thrive in the European market.”

What were your main responsibilities before starting the MBA?
Before starting the MBA, I built my career in Supply Chain and Logistics Project Management, working with multinational companies such as thyssenkrupp Group, Samsung, and GE. Motivated by the desire for broader international exposure and better career opportunities, I chose Europe as my next step.
Later, I joined Diageo, where I worked as a Finance Working Student for two years. The role offered strong flexibility and great support from my managers, which allowed me to grow professionally while studying. I gained hands-on experience in financial analysis and business operations, but I ultimately aspired to build my long-term career outside Hungary.
What is your current role and what are your main responsibilities after completing the MBA?
After completing the MBA, I began pursuing international opportunities. Soon after, BASF offered me a position, supported by a Spanish-speaking manager who recognized my background and potential. I initially joined on a contract basis and later secured my visa and a permanent position.
Today, I work in a strategic logistics role, where I oversee supply chain decisions across multiple markets. My responsibilities include evaluating investment feasibility, analyzing volumes, routes, and distributor networks, comparing costs with current supply chain structures, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and delivery times. My work directly supports strategic decisions that improve efficiency and profitability at a regional level.
What motivated you to pursue an MBA, and why did you choose Corvinus University?
I decided to pursue an MBA to strengthen my business and strategic thinking skills and to accelerate my international career.
Corvinus stood out to me because of its strong academic reputation, rigorous business perspective, and practical approach to problem-solving. The combination of high academic standards and its Central European location made it an ideal place to gain both knowledge and international exposure.
How would you describe your experience studying in a global cohort and working with classmates from different cultural and professional backgrounds?
Studying in a small cohort of only 11 students created a close, collaborative, and highly supportive environment. The cultural diversity significantly shaped my mindset and helped me learn to respect different perspectives and approaches to problem-solving.
Beyond academics, our cohort became very united. We were always happy to connect, meet outside of class, and support each other, which made the experience both professionally and personally meaningful.
I also highly valued the constant support from the program coordinators and the strong credibility of the professors, many of whom brought real industry and leadership experience into the classroom. This combination made the MBA both academically challenging and personally enriching.
How did the MBA contribute to your professional and personal development?
The MBA helped me develop a more strategic and business-oriented mindset. It enabled me to approach challenges from a broader managerial perspective and gave me the confidence to pursue international opportunities. It played an important role in helping me reach my full professional potential and build my career in Europe.
On a personal level, studying in a multicultural environment strengthened my adaptability, collaboration skills, and openness to different perspectives, contributing to my growth both professionally and personally.
