Navigator: International and National Recognitions in 2025

This initiative, which supports students’ self-awareness and conscious career planning, has once again proven that mentoring and digital innovation can bridge the gap between the needs of Generation Z and the expectations of the labor market.
Success at the Mentor Oscar 2025
The Mentor Oscar Gala, organized by Business Coach Kft., is the most prestigious Hungarian event recognizing mentoring initiatives, awarding the most outstanding organizations, mentoring programs, and mentors each year.
In 2025, Navigator demonstrated its excellence in the Nonprofit – Organization Category, earning 2nd place in a highly competitive field.
This recognition is especially significant, as it confirms that the program implemented at Corvinus is not only successful within the university walls but also serves as a model nationwide. The project was represented at the gala by Károly Vizdák, Navigator’s strategic advisor, who highlighted that the program’s strength lies in its ability to combine personalized support with digital solutions that operate naturally within today’s student environment. This year, Károly also competed individually as a mentor, winning 1st place in the Nonprofit – Individual Category with his submission.
Recognition on the International Stage
Similarly to the previous two years, in 2025 Navigator once again reached the finals of one of the world’s most renowned higher education innovation competitions, the QS Reimagine Education Award. The project was shortlisted in the Nurturing Employability category, meaning the international jury ranked it among the top 20% of the 1,600 projects submitted worldwide.
This nomination marks a major milestone for Corvinus and Navigator: the program has gained even more visibility on the global innovation map, standing alongside institutions that represent the world’s elite. Being shortlisted proves that supporting students’ conscious career planning and integrating mentoring systemically is not only relevant and value-creating in Hungary but also in an international context.
The Road Ahead
Since its launch, Navigator has supported thousands of students through competency tests, life path planning tools, and mentoring opportunities. Its development and continuous recognition send a clear message: conscious career planning and personalized support are indispensable in 21st-century higher education.
The Mentor Oscar placements and the QS Reimagine Education Award shortlisting provide fresh momentum for the Corvinus team to further develop the program and make it accessible to as many students as possible—so they can find and walk their own path, but never alone.
