A group of students from three countries visited Corvinus

The participants came from three partner institutions: Juraj Dobrila University (Pula, Croatia), the Slovak University of Agriculture (Nitra, Slovakia), and St. Kliment University (Ohrid, North Macedonia). The mobility took place within the CEEPUS program’s #TASA network, organized by network coordinator Dr. Krisztina Keller and institutional coordinator Petra Berényi.

During the three-day program, the students participated in both professional and cultural activities. On the opening day, they had the opportunity to get to know each other over an informal dinner, and the following day they made a professional visit to the IntercityHotel Budapest, where they gained insight into the operations of a city hotel and practical issues within the industry. A highlight of the program was an interactive afternoon organized at Corvinus University of Budapest, during which introductory presentations and a quiz about Hungary helped foster connections among the participants. Following this, they participated in a city tour in international groups, during which they explored Budapest’s attractions through the discovery of Mihály Kolodko’s sculptures.
On the final day, the students visited a museum of their choice in City Park, followed by a lecture by Réka Matolay at the Gellért Campus.

The study trip provided an excellent opportunity for participants to expand their professional knowledge, gain international experience, and strengthen their intercultural competencies. Additionally, we are confident that the program will inspire more students to pursue their master’s or doctoral studies at Corvinus. Another positive outcome of the mobility program was the strengthening of partnerships and the establishment of new collaborations, and we are particularly pleased to have received invitations from our partner institutions.
