Corvinus wins the hosting of one of the most important international conferences

The event, which will be a great reputational importance for the university, will bring together the deans of the most important European universities to Corvinus in 2025. The EQAF is the main event for quality assurance organisations in higher education in Europe and is attended by more than 400 participants each year.
“The European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) plays a crucial role in promoting international cooperation and addressing new trends and challenges in quality assurance in higher education. It is a great honour for our University to host this significant event” – Vice Rector Réka Vas
The European Quality Assurance Association (EQA) was established in 2000 as the European Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education to promote European cooperation in quality assurance amongst universities. In 2004, it became the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education with the aim of contributing to the maintenance and improvement of quality in higher education in Europe and to be a major driving force for the development of quality assurance in all Bologna Process countries.
This year the conference will be hosted by the University of Twente in the Netherlands, where next year’s organiser, Corvinus University of Budapest, will also have the opportunity to present.
Next year’s conference is scheduled for 19-21 November 2025.
The supported project is being implemented within the framework of the Kisfaludy Tourism Development Program.
