How can we cope with increasingly frequent and extreme drought periods? What can we do to retain water in cities and landscapes? How does the regenerative garden of the Gellért Campus contribute to keeping water locally?

Join our March community event if you are interested in exploring these questions. To celebrate World Water Day (22 March), we are organizing a program that includes a garden walk, film screening, and discussion.

You can read the introduction to March’s sustainability theme here, where we’ve collected urban water retention options, a positive vision, and action-oriented challenges.

Programme:

17:20 – 17:50 | Garden walk with landscape architect Veronika Pápai, designer of the regeneration of the Gellért garden.

18:00 – 19:00 | Film screening and discussion with Barna Borbás, a journalist at Válasz Online who actively covers drought and water retention issues.

Participation in the program is free of charge, but registration is required via the platform below to help us plan capacity.

Please note, that the language of the event will be Hungarian
