Ferenc Török tells the story of a generation that came of age around the time of the regime change in Hungary. The „History „ remains in the background, while the protagonists show little interest in politics. Major events pass by almost unnoticed, only indirectly affecting them. This isn’t about disillusionment or conscious rebellion—the adult world simply leaves teenagers cold. All they want is a little freedom and to enjoy life.
