What happens when, during a friendly dinner, not only the flavors but also the climate impact of the dishes come to the table? In the BBC’s exciting documentary, five guests choose from a menu while the carbon footprint of each dish is calculated in real time. The film playfully demonstrates how our food choices affect the future of our planet—sometimes with surprising results.
Feast to Save the Planet does not judge but confronts and provokes thought: is the vegan option always the greenest one? How do transportation, seasonal production, or agricultural practices influence the footprint of our meals? The film is both entertaining and educational, helping us understand the complex environmental impact of the food industry.
