How can I complete the physical education subject?

The general condition for completing the physical education subject for which you register in Neptun is active participation, with the exception of athletes and health exemptions. Special provisions apply to them, in the currently effective current Study and Exam Regulation.    

How can I settle any debt with the university?

Payments due and stated in Neptun must be settled promptly by the due date, by using either Simplepay or bank transfer into the specified omnibus account.

What do I have to do if I need to retake an exam or register for it?

You can register for an exam in a subject three times in a given semester, and a total of six times including repeated registration for a subject.

Repeat exams (correction of an inadequate grade) for the same subject may be taken maximum twice in a given exam period.

You can register for the third exam in the same subject for a service fee (currently HUF 2,000) specified in the Regulation on Student Fees and Benefits.

What is the difference between the proposed grade and the exam grade?

You will receive proposed grades based on your performance during the academic year and exam grades by passing an oral or written exam at the end of the semester.

Where can I register for an exam and change the date of the exam if needed?

You can register for exams through Neptun. You can modify your registration for an exam up to 24 hours before it begins. An exception is when the exam is on Monday, where you can change the exam date on Friday, 72 hours before the exam begins.

How many credits do I need to achieve in a semester?

Under the new regulations, you must earn at least 46 credits in two semesters to qualify for the Corvinus Scholarship, subject also to other criteria. This means at least 23 credits per semester. 

How can I have subjects completed at another higher education institution recognised?

You must submit a credit recognition application for that purpose. It is important to note that the procedure is subject to a charge and can only be conducted at a specific stage in the semester. 

Where and when do I have to register for the subjects?

Through the Neptun interface, at the beginning of each semester. You will receive information about the date and time each semester via e-mail. 

What is a model curriculum?

It is a document containing a recommended study plan broken down into semesters, which, may be altered slightly but of course it is not recommended. 

Where can I find information about my subjects in advance?

The Operational Curriculum and the subject data sheets available on the website together provide information about your subjects, you should browse through them.
