Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics has a twofold educational profile: it provides core mathematics courses required for all students, as well as more specialized and advanced training for a smaller group. The foundational subjects include mathematical analysis, probability theory, and linear algebra. Advanced courses cover differential equations, stochastic processes, functional analysis, and measure theory. The department’s research profile includes both pure mathematics and areas such as game theory, equilibrium theory, and methodological research.
