Important informations for the Semester
We are pleased to welcome you to the Fall semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.
As you may already know, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, certain restrictions have had to be put in effect as regards access to the University buildings, as well as, face-to-face, in-classroom teaching. Below you will find some of the most important changes that affect your studies and classes, as well as some useful information regarding the changes that have been introduced.
Attending/following lectures and seminar classes, access to the University campus
As, in a number of cases, your lectures and seminars (held in the classroom or offered in an online format) are scheduled in timeslots one after the other, below are some suggestions and options on how to deal with the relatively short breaks between classes:
a) You are free to visit and enter the university buildings (adhering, of course, to the safety regulations in effect), thus you can use the university WIFI system to join your online classes. Feel free to use the University Library, the public places within the university buildings, as well as the lecture halls opened specifically for this purpose. Further lecture halls will be opened as needed (information on this shall be provided as needed).
b) In cases where following your lectures and seminars does not have to be done in real-time, we kindly request that you view them in your homes where the circumstances are better.
c) If you have mobile internet with appropriate access conditions and a suitable device, you can join the online lectures and seminars already when you are on your way to the university.
Whichever option you choose, we do request that you pay increased attention to others’ and your own personal safety. If you are uncertain about attending or viewing any of your courses, please do turn to the professor(s) teaching the given subject.
Access to Student Services, the Education Affairs Office, the university e-mail system, and the program curricula
a. The most important student education matters can be found at this link (Budapest). In the relevant subdirectories you will find information on how you can arrange a meeting with your program coordinator, how to get an answer to your question(s) and problem(s), request assistance, etc. in a fast and efficient way.
b. We kindly request that when writing to Student Services or the Education Affairs Office you always use – if you have already set this up – your official …@stud.uni-corvinus.hu e-mail. If you do not, as yet have an official university e-mail address, please visit this site to set it up.
When accessing CUSMAN, you will find at the top of the page – in red – your official university e-mails address. The password to access your official university e-mail is the same as your Cusman password the first time (you can change your password by clicking on the button in the upper left-hand corner of the page. If you have not yet set up your Cusman account, please do so urgently at the link given above.
c. Should you have any questions regarding your program curriculum, please make sure to check out the relevant subdirectory of the „Programs” menu. If you cannot find an answer to your questions there, please contact your program director.
Coronavirus related information
If you are provenly or potentially infected by the coronavirus (you have the symptoms, have been in contact with an infected person, have a positive PCR test result, etc.) please let us know about this urgently by writing to: email@example.com. You will be informed in detail and about what you must and recommended to do.
