“Model United Nations,” also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which high school and university students represent the perspective of a designated state in a particular body of the United Nations. Participating students and students can develop their knowledge and skills in a practical environment by simulating discussions and decision-making.

Munapest - Model United Nations of Budapest is Hungary's largest international university-level UN modeling conference, which has been attracting students from all over the world to Budapest for seven years. The English-language conference, organized by members of the International Diplomatic Society, is attended by more than one hundred and fifty students a year.
Munapest will open its doors to MUN visitors in Budapest on April 6-10, 2021. The 5-day simulation provides an opportunity to develop discussion and public speaking skills in an international environment, to expand the network of personal international contacts, and to discuss the most pressing topics in world
The main narrative of the event is "Drained Earth" - The uncertainty of water and the clash of national interests. Discussions will focus on issues such as water safety and conflicts of national interests in committees such as the Security Council, NATO and the online chamber, the ICC, supported by a special chamber system such as the Diplomatic Corps and the Press Corps.
Munapest 2021 also offers workshops on Day 0 and departmental trainings before the conference, as well as lunch and refreshments during the conference. It also provides social events and participant packages for those present at amazing venues.
