At its meeting on 22 May, the Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation, in agreement with the proposal of the Senate of the Corvinus University of Budapest, decided to submit to the President of Hungary the nomination of the University Professor of the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Brussels.

The Senate of Corvinus and the Board of Trustees of the Foundation maintaining the university supported the appointment of Bruno

At its meeting of 22 May, the Senate recommended the appointment as rector a Brussels-based professor from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. As this was confirmed by the Board of Trustees, the Maintainer has initiated that Bruno van Pottelsberghe be appointed by the President of the Republic through the Ministry of Culture and Innovation.
