Edit Bartha and Péter Verebélyi were colleagues for many years at a multinational company. Edit applied for admission to the Corvinus Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme on Péter’s advice, and Peter continued to be her mentor throughout her studies. When should you recommend EMBA training to a mentored colleague, what aspects should you consider when choosing from the programmes available on the market, and how can a mentor support the mentee in completing the programme leading to senior management positions? These were some of the questions we discussed with Edit and Péter.

He held a lecture in Budapest about how social scientists should alter their approach to research design and science communication to achieve real changes in the world. The professor presented three lessons from his career after receiving the John von Neumann Prize of 2022 from the Rajk College for Advanced Studies of Corvinus on April 8, 2024.

From April, Senate meetings will be held in English

Corvinus has reached another milestone in its internationalisation process. In accordance with the University's language policy, the working language of the Senate will be English from April, but for the time being, interpretation will be provided for non-English speakers on request. The move is key to supporting diversity and ensuring that all university citizens can participate meaningfully and effectively in the life of the institution.
