The Corvinus Gold Medal is awarded to those lecturers, researchers, leaders and professional managers who have made a long-term outstanding impact on the development and reputation of the University through their exceptionally valuable, internationally recognised scientific activities, outstanding teaching work, and who have played a significant role in the education of young researchers, or who have made a great contribution to the renewal of the University and the realisation of its strategic goals as leaders and professional managers.
As Head of the Institute of Marketing and Communication Science and its predecessor, Tamás created an inspiring academic environment. Under his leadership, the institute successfully guided the university through a transition into a new era, enhanced internationally recognized research outputs, and strengthened the university’s reputation through high-quality publications.
Helena is the Head of the Sustainable Finance Research Centre and an Associate Professor at the Institute of Finance, as well as an invited participant in international research consortia. She plays a pioneering role in bringing the financial aspects of biodiversity into scientific discourse and is a dedicated mentor in professional and grant-writing topics.
For more than 20 years, Ágnes has contributed to the university’s development in several leadership roles, including as Program Director of the Doctoral School of Business and Management, member of the Academic Career Committee, and Vice-Rector. In recent years, she has also played a role in the university’s transformation and in developing its sustainability strategy
The Corvinus Medal is awarded to university citizens who have demonstrated exemplary and outstanding performance over a long period of time; and whose leadership or academic or service activities have had a significant impact on the development, reputation of the University. This award also recognises the work of those who have carried out transformations, innovations and developments which have made a significant contribution to the renewal of the University.
Charles led the ACCA accreditation process of the International Accounting and Auditing programme with dedication and great precision, strengthening the university’s international recognition. He played a key role in modernizing accounting education and enhancing the quality of teaching.
As Director of the Strategy, Management and Entrepreneurship Programme, György carries out dedicated development work with a highly student-friendly and supportive approach. He established the Centre of Family Business, which has become a leading professional hub. Through his mentorship, he has guided multiple generations into leadership positions.
Viktória has been a key member of the Department of World Economy since 2015. She has applied her experience to the development of several programs and has been highly active in the Scientific Students’ Associations (TDK). In 2020, the university recognized her work with the Lecturer of the Year award. She is also a member of several university committees.
As head of the Corvinus Center for Operations Research (CCOR), Tibor has made significant contributions to advancing research excellence at the university while serving as an exemplary mentor to young researchers. His research group has achieved outstanding results in both internationalization and grant activities.
Melinda has been working at the university for nearly 40 years. With her innovative mindset and persistent work, she has greatly contributed to the development of Corvinus’s tourism research groups. As a leader, she made the university a key player in Hungary’s tourism sector and has made lasting contributions to developing future professionals.
Róbert is an outstanding lecturer and researcher in the fields of digitalization and artificial intelligence. He is the driving force behind the Digiméter project and the association that emerged from it, serving as its president. He actively develops the university’s corporate partnerships and conducts exemplary scientific outreach.
Tünde has been a key member of the Department of Accounting for decades, characterized by both innovation and loyalty. She performs her teaching and course leadership duties with exemplary professionalism, combining expertise with kindness and support, guiding generations in their professional growth.
Dóra has been working with consistent dedication for nearly 25 years to enhance the mobility opportunities of the university’s students. She has built and maintained partnerships with many leading universities around the world. Through her persistent efforts, she has helped countless students gain valuable international experiences.
Returning as an alumnus, Zsolt has been leading the university’s marketing communications for years. Andrea is the Head of Secretariat at the Institute of Operations and Decision Sciences, and her colleagues can rely on her for any matter on a daily basis. Her work is characterised by efficiency and quick problem-solving, and she is open to forward-looking developments and eager to experiment with innovations.
Imola played a key role in the successful execution of the 2025 spring MyView student feedback survey, which is crucial for improving the quality of education. Her flexibility and meticulous work ensured that the results were available on time and in full.
For a decade, Emese has been a key member of the Centre of Foreign Language Education and Research, whose dedication and expertise make her one of the driving forces of the unit. Each semester, she efficiently manages the administration of around 2,000 students, while her innovative ideas have laid the foundation for numerous new developments and initiatives.

Balázs joined as a staff member 4 years ago, but he has been a citizen of Corvinus for 12 years. He has provided indispensable assistance during critical periods, and over the past 2 years, he ensured the satisfaction of CIAS international visiting researchers with outstanding resilience and proactivity, all while remaining a friendly and attentive colleague.
Jenő has been working at the university since 2017, initially handling dormitory Neptun administration and timetable coordination. Since 2023, he has been an indispensable member of the Programme Management team. Always available, patient, and helpful, with truly remarkable expertise.

The Sustainable Finance Research Center (SFRC), founded in 2023, is a leading hub for research connecting finance, ecology, and society. In just two years, it has secured over €600,000 in international funding through major projects such as NATUREFIN (Interreg Europe) and BioSolar (Biodiversa+). The SFRC also co-edited the forthcoming Palgrave Macmillan book titled Biodiversity Finance. It develops innovative financial tools to channel capital into nature-positive outcomes, collaborates with top international partners, and actively mentors young researchers.

During a period of change at the Department of Psychology, Fanni redeveloped the Economic Psychology course, which has received outstanding student feedback across several programs. She was nominated Lecturer of the Year at the Semester Teacher Gala and is a popular and dedicated thesis supervisor.
Tibor is the head of the Business Data Analysis program, with significant contributions to data science and AI education and curriculum development, successfully integrating his corporate leadership experience into his courses. He plays an outstanding role in talent development and mentoring, while also participating in corporate projects and academic collaborations.
Norbert has earned the respect of both students and colleagues in the Accounting Department through his outstanding professional dedication, teaching methods, and student-centered approach. He brings the curriculum to life with practical examples and real-world cases, and his interactive classes motivate students.
Csaba, a former finance minister and banking executive, has long dedicated his extensive experience to the benefit of university students. In his classes, he collaborates with leading figures from the economic and political spheres while engaging students through innovative teaching methods. He is also actively involved in talent development, delivering lectures and leading courses in honors programs.
Zoltán is an outstanding lecturer who sets high standards for both himself and his students. For many years, he has been a driving force in talent development, regularly conducting research and publishing with his teaching assistants, while playing an integrative role in course development.
For years, Zalán has made a significant contribution to achieving the university’s strategic goals. A multiple research excellence awardee and OTDK winner, he was chosen by students as Lecturer of the Year in spring 2025. He also serves as the main organizer of the now traditional Corvinus Farmers’ Markets.
Alexandra is a cornerstone of the Communication and Media Studies programs. Her kindness, consistency, and high-quality courses have earned her multiple nominations for Lecturer of the Year by students. As her department’s CTE coordinator, she has made invaluable contributions to the development of CTE 1.0 and 2.0.
For many years, Tünde’s work has been characterized by exemplary dedication, outstanding professional competence, and enthusiasm. As head of the French for Specific Purposes group, she works to the highest standards, demonstrating her commitment to her field by earning her PhD last year.
Since the early 2000s, Tamás has been a dedicated member of the university. His goal is to foster a love of sports and ensure high-level skill development. Under his guidance, students have repeatedly reached national university and college finals in multiple sports, while he also emphasizes the health and personal development benefits of sports.
Since 2008, Gábor has been a respected lecturer at our university, responsible for several large courses. His commitment to high-quality education is shown by his additional degree in economics education. He is highly popular among students, as reflected in his excellent HalVel and MyView results.

Since 2018, Diána has been a valued member of the Institute of Economics. She performs her administrative duties with great diligence, and colleagues can always rely on her.
