In recent days, we hosted successful alumni gatherings in two Western European cities, London and The Hague, for our alumni working abroad. These events once again highlighted the strong demand for more active engagement with the alma mater on an international level.

Professionals working in the tourism sector are typically the ones who apply for the Corvinus tourism manager programme. Ágnes Szigeti-Farkas, however, embarked on the programme after more than twenty years of teaching English. She now uses the knowledge she gained in the programme to teach tourism-related subjects in English at a vocational secondary school in Miskolc. Her story also highlights the hidden potential within secondary-level tourism education.

Nearly seventy people attended the Accounting Alumni Evening held at the end of February, where former students joined faculty members to recall the history of the university and the program—and even revived the popular accounting anthems with guitar accompaniment.

Nearly one hundred alumni attended the joint reunion organised for graduates of the Masters in Finance and Management and Leadership programmes.
