Information about the project (intensive) week
There will be one (intensive) project week in each semester of the 2025/2026 academic year:
- in the autumn semester, during the first week of the academic period: 8–12 September 2025,
- in the spring semester, in the middle of the academic period: 30 March–2 April 2026.
Features of the project week:
- during this week, classes are not held according to the traditional timetable;
- students can focus on projects, company tasks, fieldwork and external data collection;
- a topic can be dealt with in a concentrated manner, in greater depth and with a focus on the essentials;
- there is an opportunity for focused group work using new teaching methods.
Where can I find these subjects and their courses?
- Compulsory, compulsory elective and free elective subjects may also have project courses.
- The course notes also contain information about the project week.
- Courses for subjects that include a project week may appear in the timetable as follows:
- classes will only be held during the project week;
- there may be subjects that have classes according to the timetable during the regular teaching weeks and also have classes during the project week, grouped together.
How do the course registration rules apply to the project week?
- All course registration rules apply to project week courses, including rules regarding conflicts.
- In the autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, the project week precedes the teaching weeks. In this case, students can only register for courses marked with ‘-P’ until 04.09.2025, and if the course starts in the following week, it can no longer be dropped. Therefore, first-year students are advised to study the syllabi of the elective courses.
