Corvinus University, in collaboration with Mathias Corvinus Collegium, once again hosted the AI Transformation Conference on September 10th, featuring plenary lectures on diverse aspects of AI Transformation by some of the world’s foremost scientists. 

AI transformation is the incorporation of AI-based technologies into the products, processes, and strategies of individuals, organizations, and social entities that lead to new capabilities and radical performance improvements in the economy, business, management and human digital environments. The goal of the Conference was to target the development of both new theoretical frameworks and practical solutions towards applications. The recurring event is especially important for AI research, because of its deep rooting international collaborations of scientists from some of the leading universities and research institutions of the world. 

AI Transformation Conference is growing to be a central node in AI research with distinguished speakers sharing their knowledge on the podium. The day-long lectures covered a wide range of topics including Policy Optimization in Control: Geometry and Algorithms delivered by Prof. Mehran Mesbahi (University of Washington), the role of Systematic Risk Management presented by Prof. Colin Eden (University of Strathclyde) and Prof. Péter Baranyi revealing some details about the logic of AI decisions. 

The second plenary session incorporated complex ideas revolving around AI integration into cognitive processes. The ever more important questions on talent management and achieving technological synergy together with AI were discussed by Prof. Giovanni Schiuma (Università LUM Giuseppe Degennaro), Prof. Yinyu Ye (Stanford University) and Prof. Zoltán Cséfalvay.
