This is how the Corvinus alumni network is evolving

In 2025, we rethought our alumni strategy and began a systematic building process. We launched a dedicated alumni subpage on the University’s website, where we regularly share news and interviews related to our former students and provide updates on alumni events. Over the past year, dozens of Corvinus alumni have shared their stories and post-graduation successes with us as part of our Share Your Story initiative – we continue to look forward to your inspiring stories. By autumn, our five-part alumni video series was also completed, featuring well-known former students such as József Váradi, President and CEO of Wizz Air, and the Gulyás brothers, who built up the Félegyházi Bakery brand. These videos are also available on our alumni subpage.
In 2025, we also launched the Corvinus Alumni LinkedIn and Facebook pages. If you haven’t done so yet, follow us on both platforms to stay up to date with our news and events firsthand.
Alongside digital connections, we strongly believe in the power of personal relationships, as communities are driven most by face-to-face encounters and shared experiences. That is why in 2025 we supported and organized more than 25 alumni gatherings, including the Annual Alumni Meeting with over 900 participants, where we presented the Alumni of the Year Award for the first time. In March 2025, we also organized our first programme-specific alumni dinner for graduates of the Management and Organization programme from the past five years. Eighty percent of registered participants attended the event, which took place in a great atmosphere.
In parallel with strengthening the University’s international visibility, last autumn we also held several international alumni meet-ups. We met with our alumni living abroad in Zurich, Istanbul and Munich. We will continue our international alumni events this year as well and will soon share details about our alumni gatherings planned for the spring in London and The Hague.
In 2025, our alumni took part in around 250 mentoring sessions as mentors – thank you for your contribution. Many former students also inspired graduates as keynote speakers at our graduation ceremonies. This year, we will continue to involve alumni members in the everyday life of the University and, through our programmes and mentoring opportunities, aim to further strengthen their connection with current students.
We believe in the power of lifelong learning, which is why we offer several benefits to our alumni members. As last year, in 2025 alumni can receive a 10–30% discount on the tuition fees of continuing education programmes offered by Corvinus, a 50% discount on the annual library membership fee, and free access to institutional conferences, open lectures and webinars.
Stay with us in 2026 as well, and we hope to see you in person soon at one of our alumni events.
